School — as an institution — is the first real “training ground” for the world we encounter, where learning, relationships and everyday discoveries intertwine. Schools — as buildings — are therefore not mere containers, but complex systems in which architecture plays a leading role. Zintek considers school construction a privileged field for experimenting with solutions attentive to both the environment and the communities that will inhabit them. In this issue we present five projects, different in approach and language. Each tells a possible way of interpreting the school, in order to create places where the women and men of tomorrow can grow, imagine, make mistakes, and begin again.
